“JEREMIAH 1:5 BEFORE I FORMED YOU IN THE WOMB I KNEW YOU”

Steven Frazier was born August 15,1984, he was born of Linda Frazier & Buck Jones in the small town of Hampton South Carolina. As a teenager Steven’s life was a struggle and the easy thing for him to do was live a sinful life. At 15 years of age his dad left his mother, he turned to the streets and the streets turned him out. In his adult life he sees this as the result of not having a father figure around.

He was considered a very nice rapper on his block so people began to hear about his skills. His cousin Marquis “SC.KEYS” Smith makes beats and recorded music, Marquis liked what Steven was doing and they began to develop music together. They were doing their thing, but they made some poor choices along the way. His love for school left him and living the fast life was a rush. Steven became very disrespectful & selfish, an attitude that is frequently adopted with the street life. All he wanted to do was get rich! He found out that he was only chasing the wind. In other words he was chasing something he could not feel but didn’t know what direction it was taking him in. He ended up experiencing the penalty side of the criminal life. He was charged with armed robbery and facing 30 years in prison. While dealing with the armed robbery charge he was caught with drugs.

One day he ran into a guy that liked his music and the guy happened to have a record label called “Deep in It Productions”. He paid him to work on music; lots of money, drugs and phone cards Steven said it felt great. But you know the old saying all things come to an end.  It did. Stevens’ manager gave him an expensive camera so he could take pictures and promote his own music, but Steven refused this offer and said “I need to make money.”  After calling the manager numerous times and getting no response, Steven sold the camera. That was the end of “DEEP IN IT”. Steven tried to get a job to take care of his family but at this time he was unsuccessful. He never thought about giving his life to Christ but while he was away he believes God nurtured his child’s mother. When he came back home she talked frequently about getting her soul saved. God dealt with him while he was out of town.

 

Since then Steven has married his child’s mother and they are raising three healthy children. God gave him a new life .He is now a Motivational speaker for the “DREAM TEAM.” The Dream Team is a group of African American men who share their stories of trial and victory with America’s youth. Not only does he have his own recording studio, he’s also a Christian rapper. He said God really showed up and showed out in his life and he can’t wait to let the world know. Steven said that his only mission is to do the will of his father, LUKE 14:23. When he was of the world he help tear down now he is ready to help build up the kingdom. Steven aims to guide people to walk in their natural light as kings and queens. He said it’s an abundance of good out there but people love to pick the bad as he did. If God can change his life, he knows that God can do it for you.  Steven said as long as he lives, he will let his light shine and do whatever he can do to help people see that God is the only Way.
